Another St. John's Courtroom Temporarily Closed for Bed Bug Treatment

Bedbugs, or the scent of the creatures, have been detected in another St. John’s provincial courtroom.

Last week, a pest control dog signalled the presence of bed bugs in Courtroom #10 forcing the temporary closure of the court while treatment took place.

Today, a bed bug detecting dog signalled in Courtroom #5.

The last negative sweep of the courtroom was performed on September 28th.

Treatment is underway, meaning the courtroom is temporarily closed.

A sweep of other areas of the St. John’s provincial court conducted today turned up negative.
